1000 lies!

I have heard my grandmother tell my mother once ,"It's okay to tell a 1000 lies to make a marriage"...and I was wondering the other day how much of it stands true today. Sadly, it just doesn't work that way now.

The marriages of yesterday were meant to be forever.The couple stayed together even if they hated the sight of each other.By and by they learnt to coexist peacefully.But the youth of today is not prepared for any such sacrifice.They just want the best.That is also the reason for so many divorces today.If either of the m feel that they have been cheated in some way, they show no hesitance in filing for a divorce.So the age old saying of "1000 lies..." is of least significance now.Sad...
